Guntur city has been known as the seat of learning in A.P. and students come to Guntur here from various villages to pursue their higher studies. To facilitate their stay and study  ‘kamma Hostel for boys was established in the year 1923 at Arundelpet, Guntur with the help of philanthropists  and donors.  Thousands of students benefited by this facility and several of them are now highly placed across the globe
